I'm not a big metal fan, but I need someone who likes metal to tell me what they think of this album. One of the guys in the band is a friend of mine from high school and i guess it's in the top ten chart on itunes for metal or something.

Well there's alot of subgenres for metal since it's such a diverse music style. And I don't like that genre so I can't help you

It's okay. I can definitely see why people would like it, but I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Christian metal... You might be able to find like 2-3 people on this forum who are, though.

It's not the Christian element that most metalheads reject, it's the crappy metalcore sound. (referring to TDWP- didn't dl the song OP posted)

It's a deathcore band, sounds a lot like born of osiris and winds of plague. Not really the kind I like most but they're pretty decent.
