If you haven't heard already the legendary hacker MarshviperX(hacked the old nites account, found the first bloodrune dupe, was responsible for the 2002 starcraft surge and the warhammer highscore hack) has recently claimed that he is about to perform the biggest account hacking in MMORPG history on thousands of runescape accounts. He reckons he has found a vulnerability in the java login script and can gain access to anyones account he wants and that he has made a bot so that he can hack a shitload at once making the rs char drop all items in their bank to get into the guinness world record for online game hacking. He is planning to do all this at 12 on new years eve.

My name is on the list and if yours is too you should be pooping your pants although everyone has been saying that all we have to do is have a bank pin then his bot can't do shit because he has only found a vulnerability in the login script, theres no way he has found a way to get everyones pin number too. If you go to the contact us section of rs forums you will probably see a load of posts about it although jagex has been deleting them to try and calm people.

UPDATE1: It has been confirmed that MarshviperX's bots cannot penetrate a bank pin so as long as you have a bank pin and don't leave any items on your rs char over newyears you should be safe. Spread the word to all your friends if you want them to be safe too.

Like some of you guys i was doubting if this was real myself but with that many proxys he can really pull this shit off. Personally though i think MarshviperX's cockyness might lead to his downfall, he has already given us the names of the accounts he is planning to hack and the proxys he is planning to use, surely jagex can now ban all the proxy ip's or something?

Well as you have probably figured out by now this was a hoax, and with 51 pages of replies and 60k views a quite successful hoax if i may say so myself. I would like to thank my parents for their support during the hard times, jesus, my producer and the whole cast at di-rs.com it was a great season guys. I did actually come up with all of this myself, i didn't get it from another forum. The list of names is from a super secret underground haxor site and is used for crackers(as someone mentioned earlier) and i got the name MarshviperX from this http://pastebin.com/f5245e0dc infamous /g/ copypasta. I am still astounded at the amount of coverage this shit got as i came up with the whole thing and wrote it up in like 2 minutes and really didn't expect anyone to believe it. Google 'marshviperx' is you wish to see how far this shit spread and get a good laugh.

In the last 4 days i have probably laughed more than any other days in my life, this thread was absolutely hilarious, Tommy T Bones vid was hilarious, that svew retard getting trolled to infinity was hilarious, alan getting a free month of rs was hilarious, seeing everyone legitimately discussing it when i posted the link in swiftirc chans was hilarious, all the noobs posting on official rsb forums were hilarious, fuck this was fun lets do it again next year.
