i rethought it over and i hope philly wins so we gt washington in the first round.
we have a better chance at beating washington then NJ cause NJ has a great goalie and can score, caps only have scorers no goalie
We dont have a chance of beating any of em, lol. Losing 3 in a row to the 3 shittiest team in the league to start the playoffs, we'll get swept. It doesnt matters anyway, the new DG didnt have time or the money to make moves in order to win the cup this year. I know we're in good hands for the next few years tho.
thats the spirit..?
loving the confidence
Rangers are gone
gg philly
I'm sorry I'm not ignorant and can face reality. If only the rest of the habs fans and medias could too, we'd have a chance of rebuilding and players wouldn't choke so much, scared of getting raped in the medias and pretty much everywhere they go. Look at Latendresse lol, hes great in a pressure free city like Minnessota. Pouliot was great and on fire when he arrived here but as soon as he got into a goal drought, his name was all over the media and now hes extinguished for good. Washington is the best team in the league, and Jose Theodore is a Vezina winner, and he did it in MTL too, thats something. The best attack in the league vs a defence that allows a shorthanded goal to Toronto(worst special units in the league) in a game that could have decided if they make the playoffs or not.
Cmon man, wake up.
if everyone had the mentality of no sense trying lets just give up, half the teams in the league would have no fan base.
theres nothing wrong with cheering for your team till the end
Thats why MTL and specially Toronto have to settle for mediocrity every year. Even if the players dont perform(mainly because of the medias and fans), the stands will be full and merchandise is gonna sell like crazy. The mental aspect is overlooked by many when its a major part of hockey. Last time Price played and performed great, he was booed out of the ice loudly. Wtf is that? The medias made sure to bring out the stats of Halak having won like double of what Price had, etc. All that after a good performance by Price, how do you think he felt? How are you supposed to want to give your max when thats what you get in return.
Don't get me wrong, I'll never stop supporting the Habs but at this point im cheering for miracles to happen, not really expecting a team effort like we saw on december 4th. That was the one week in the last what 15+years there was no negative media coverage or fan reactions. And we saw one hell of a good Habs team that night.
