Key here is basically getting him to de-iron as quickly as possible. Seems fairly clan world competent from his posting on RSC.

He's one of those guys that follows everything. He's got accounts on other forums, the whole lot.
Going to be a long road, but he definitely can grind if needed.

for what it's worth I think declining him probably would have gotten him to de iron faster. The guy is a hardcore iron man he likely won't be ready by 2019.

Just hit him off next time he's doing something where he can die

Really surprised this guy's clan history is basically non-existent. As olde said he seems very aware about the clan world from rsc posting etc., from when I first saw him posting he came across as a rot member/fanboy who sort of took a bit of a liking to us by us being on their side.

I think it is the other way around, but from seeing rot's recent success he has been giving them praise. He goes by "pranati" on their boards and zybez I believe.

idk - if you want you can see some of his past posts via the reputation thing on his profile
http://forums.zybez.net/user/1148198-prana...ived&st=105 - always very pro rot even when we were on the other side of the crashwar.
Also, again, can hardly believe the guy has basically no clan history with the knowledge etc. he showed, so ended up finding some post where he claims he was in phalanx

Let him on a few raids with us the other day, seems like a nice guy but doesn't talk. Seems to be levelling that iron-man pretty slowly aswell

gonna be the dissenter here. what's the value in giving an iron man CF when he's 1 year + away from being able to join?
he's a nice enough guy but even when deadman came around (see: his first chance to make an impact) he played a couple hours & then just disappeared.

Community values, he's active in CC and on the forums

Apr 6 2017, 04:39 PM
Let's be honest here. If he doesn't do anything it would just be removed anyways. I agree he's not very active, but it's not like he would abuse the additional access and it isn't hurting us in any way.

i agree there's probably no harm in it but no reason not to take action isn't the same as a reason to take action.
don't really think a HCIM that came out of nowhere fits in with our current other clan friends.
long as he doesn't have ts/irc access i'm not really fussed either way

er I think I'm referring to slavetogod lol Always get those two mixed up.
Agree he doesn't add anything to the table, so wouldn't honour the clan friend thing would just tell him straight up it's impossible via hcim.

Well I guess if someone could have a word with him and see what his plans are that would probably be a good first step.

apparently he qualified 3 deadman accounts?
either way i guess there isn't a whole lot of harm in keeping him on as intro IMO

didn't even qualify an account for DMM.
0 value here just remove

Removed his friend rank. If he is around and comes to trips sure, but otherwise this is a waste of our time.

He has computer issues atm, no need to take his access without checking whats going on at least.

I mean to be fair he was on course at least, but computer issues caused him to miss out.

May 7 2017, 02:33 AM
he's a fucking HCIM that's been here for 5 months & done absolutely nothing for us.
how is this even up for discussion lol
Brian
May 7 2017, 12:23 PM
How is qualifying for DMM doing nothing for us?
bball
May 7 2017, 01:37 PM
he qualified for the first DMM & did literally nothing. played for a couple hours & then went back to playing HCIM the rest of the week.
if you want to keep him on for the sake of it then by all means do it. but let's not pretend this is ever going to go anywhere
Brian
May 7 2017, 03:04 PM
I just don't understand why you think someone should be removed without at least talking to them. No one even knew he had computer issues but just decided he should be removed anyway. It would of taken 1 minute to send him a forum PM and say, hey what's going on? I said that would be a good first step a month ago, but nah just remove him instead of actually reaching out.
How exactly is he a waste of our time? What resources are we "wasting" on him? Is he "using" us?
bball
May 7 2017, 09:05 PM
I completely agree that people shouldn't be guested without a conversation. We've done it in the past & it's cost us good people. Given that other people have been talking with him & have a relationship with him I was under the impression someone else had spoke with him.
With that being said you can decide what you want to do with him but I'm still failing to see how this guy has benefited us in even the most minuscule way in a full 5 months.
Brian
May 7 2017, 09:34 PM
He hasn't benefited us directly much I agree but no ones gone to him and asked what his plans were or even given him an ultimatum about working towards becoming part of the clan. I mean if he was a total ghost I'd agree with binning him without talking to him but until his computer issues he was in CC and on IRC everyday, not to mention supporting us on RSC.

May 7 2017, 09:40 PM
He hasn't exactly been a detriment to us either just being around. I agree with him likely not being worth keeping, but it would be worth a conversation with him and assess if he actually wants to join to contribute or if he's just looking for a community to hang around with while he does whatever as an HCIM. The latter is obvious grounds for termination as an intro, but the former (depending on how long he genuinely plans on taking) could get him to hurry it up along in the process.
