http://www.runescape.com/referendum

Well, just got off voice chat with Brian and he has expressed to me that he would love to see the old name re-open it's doors under a couple of conditions.

- It's only happening assuming Free trade returns and traditional wilderness comes back on at least certain servers.
- Still honourable
- Still elitist \ Still exclusive (Like 2006 Di was, not like 2009 Di became)
- Still p2p at heart, f2p if at all possible, but always secondary to controlling high level winderness.
- No mass recruiting, standard Intro \ FA \ Application process returns.
- Auto accepts to be dealt with on a case by case basis, governed ultimately by himself.
- Auto accepts to be a "Limited time only" type deal.
- Clan is only allowed to be officially open, the day that the update happens, not the day before it.
- Runescape to be judged within the first 3 months, kind of like a trial, then a vote is taken to determine if the clan should stay open, or if it should permanently close it's doors.

The prep work is being done as you read this, but nothing will be official unless the update actually rolls out.

Brian is a bit tied up with RL over the next few weeks, so he has said that at least until the whole thing gets off the ground:
Bibbleboy and Skullator are to lead.

Ranks below leader to be will be dealt with and auto accepted at Brian's discretion, and based on numbers.

We appreciate that alot of people have grown up, and RL is beginning to take over for most of the oldschoolers.
So casual P2P and PK trips will be key at first. #1 in any aspect of the game we want it will come later ASSUMING the game doesn't suck.
#1 anywhere we want it, just like old times. We ran everything we cared about.. we can bring it back!

Note, honour code is to be slightly redifined based on new elements to the game such as summoning \ ddosing, alot of it is still at the concept stage but the old stuff still applies.
Heres what that means to potential applicants:
- Strictly No logging
- Strictly No luring (Single to multi is the definition, get the fuck out modern definition kids)
- No overhead protection prays or equiv new prayers to be used in single.
- No summoning familars unless our opponents refuse to bank theirs
- Stricly no account sharing allowed
- You must of created and trained the account you join on
- You cannot multi clan.
- Stictly no pking with NH clan members.

We have the numbers, we have the talent, we still have the old ego's, the only question is...
Are you in?

Oh stop, DI has been supposedly re-opening quite a few times. It's just another ploy to get there forums active again.

Yeah looks like another act, their private forums have no serious discussion about it

Edit: Although I wish they did, they were actually a challenge as opposed to what we're faced with today.

Clearly you haven't been reading them then

Too much this.

Respect to Brian for getting involved on the RSC heat.

Press release:
Geezerpunk and I spoke at length tonight.. over a 4 hour long conversation spanning across multiple Vent servers and Skypes (With skype of course mainly being used to make phone calls to ireland)

We've had a bit of a meeting and unfortunately Geezer has expressed some concerns with actually getting too caught up with Damage Incorporated leadership long term.
Basically we want to thank Geezerpunk for his efforts thus far and see him on his way as soon as possible.

We do however have some more positive news to bring to the table this morning.
Back from the dead, ladies and gentlemen we have a very special guest to replace Geezer, and by extension help take out the trash.

Welcome back, Bibbleboy.
Do us proud, just like old times.

The classic "Brian just called me/PM'd me/IM'd me on MSN..." trick always works.
