Survivability Options

Supposedly our organization has been bad the past fights, and I thought that DF did a pretty good job taking our leaders out fast. Maybe it's time to discuss ways to survive? I've thought of a few ideas.

Making everyone add each other and ALL FA's. Make sure everyone's FL is updated before every weekend. Just so that they can use the minimap to navigate their way to fall in's, and not to the wrong side. Less dependence on IRC/TS to find location, which some people don't use. Possibly make a week-by-week list with add/remove lists to go along with the FA list to make it easier for people to manage their friend's list. Only put on friends chat when the fight is underway, to prevent crashers etc. Right now, only leaders have the right to have friends chat on, however, that's not good enough with crashers/anti crashers, it's basically impossible to make out where DI is using the minimap.

As for leaders to survive more, when you're calling a large fall-in at gate or something, have warlords and maybe even elders just make a 3x3 box around the leader. This makes it so when they charge us unexpectedly, our main group following the leader doesn't break up when he dies from a surprise attack.

Thing is Df have a very clever and effective strategy going that I saw last fight, and it really was wrecking us.

Basically a DF member will usually try to follow one of the warlords or brian, especially when we are calling a fall in. Since around gate we are so spread out it often takes time to get a good option count so we can quickly ko people. Anyways while we are walking around maybe picking off people, this Df member that is following us tells a Df leader who has much more options following him than we have following, rushes towards us and takes us out and destroys our organization.

On the next F2P trip just after we set off we'll make everyone turn priv to friends. We can have everyone add eachother up then.

We could also have a Di member (must have a mic on TS though) fall in on DF, then we can know exactly where they are, like Joe said.

You should all probably keep melee prayer on at all times aswell, it helps me alot, especially when you get two or three randoms trying to take you out on a suicide mission.

Maybe elliot/geezer/or someone else would be more useful falling in on their leader, since they talk the most or something.
