Went on vacation, my shitty fuck of a brother spilt some kind of drink (Looks like Coke/Tea) all down into my desktop tower. I can see where it's dried on the graphics card. Just some small spots, not big gooey puddles.

booted it up before knowing this, it wouldn't cut on the first 2-3 tries. Finally it cut on, said the BIOS was corrupted and then went on to do the recovery process. Then it noticed things looking weird so I checked and now I can see the spill.

Just wondering if there is any way I can get those small dried puddles off my gfx card or what. Everything has been running smooth on it for ~10 minutes now, but obvious I would like to clean it up.

bonus info: my family wants to be so shitty about it that they are denying everything. I can even see where they wiped down the case, and picked some things in the room up off the floor to dry up the spill. Its so awesome laugh.gif

I accidentally dropped a full glass of Orange juice on my laptop keyboard and there was a blue screen of death. I ended up shutting it off, opening it as much as i could and wiping things down . I basically cleaned and dried everything and put it back together and it worked like new.

You need to wipe everything with alcohol wipes or such as much as possible..clean sockets and fans etc etc.
